This is the third concert in the orchestra’s 15th anniversary season, which celebrates the passion of both its musicians and its audiences. The concert takes place Feb. 12, 7:30 p.m. at Le Petit Trianon, 72 N. Fifth St., San Jose. Music director Emily Ray leads the orchestra in “Latin Passions,” which highlights Latin American and Spanish music. The concert includes the West Coast premiere of Uruguayan composer Miguel del Aguila’s Salón Buenos Aires. Last year, Aguila’s album of the same name, titled after the piece, received a Latin Grammy nomination for best classical album. “Latin Passions” presents Salón Buenos Aires in an arrangement for chamber orchestra; Aguila wrote the piece originally for a quintet.
